Time for the Spring Photo Show!

Join your friends and neighbors at Northern Westchester's longest-running photo exhibition, started 34 years ago at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Hudson Valley in Croton. This year you can show one or two pictures for one $10 hanging fee (and students pay only $5). Same format and rules as in prior years, except that people who can't make the drop-off and/or pick-up dates will be accommodated. (Please send email to MrJimChristensen@gmail.com if you're in this situation.)

Here's the details:

  1. Exhibitors must be a members of the Croton Council on the Arts (see crotonarts.org and click on Membership).
  2. Please fill-out the exhibitor's form when you drop-off your work. You can do this ahead of time by downloading and printing the form at THIS LINK.
  3. Photos must be ready to hang on a standard gallery hanging rod (email if you have questions about this).
  4. All types of photography are welcome: color, blank-and-white, photojournalistic, wildlife, fine art, portraits, travel, manipulated, etc.
  5. All types of cameras may be used: film, digital, cell phone, drone, etc.
  6. You are solely responsible for your work, from drop-off to pick-up.
  7. You may offer your work for sale. All sales are subject to NYS sales tax and a 30% gallery fee (split between the UU and the CCoA).
  8. Please plan to attend the reception on Sunday, 5/7. It's always a lot of fun and a great chance to see those friends you've not seen since last year's show!

That's it. We hope to see you back at this wonderful show, which has hosted some of New York's finest since the early 1980's. Help us keep this tradition alive and well in our community.
